This event will explore the intersection of spirituality and
sexuality. How do the ways in which we express and play with our
sexuality deepen our spiritual paths? How does our religious/
spiritual self affect our sexual identity? Guest speakers will share
their stories and strategies for integrating these two aspects of
human nature. Our panelists are: Amichai Lau-Lavie, the Founder,
Artistic and Executive Director of Storahtelling: Jewish Ritual
Theatre Revived; Paul Wirhun, a.k.a. Rosie Delicious, an artist and
erotic healer and member of the radical fairy community; and Michelle
Slack, an African-American Second Year Master of Divinity student at
Union Theological Seminary whose primary focus is pastoral ministry
and theology, as well as liturgical studies and vocal/gospel music.
Our moderator is Gabriel Blau, the founder of the God & Sexuality
Conference at Bard College and has spoken and written extensively on
homosexuality and Judaism.
