| Sexuality, Sexual Expression and Gender Identity in 21st Century African American Religious / Spiritual Practice
In this session we will explore the intersection of religion and sexuality and the implications in worship practice and ritual. We will also discuss the manipulation of African American religion on issues related to sexuality, gender identity and sexual expression in the current cultural climate. The session will include the perspectives of clergy, a pastor in service to a congregation, advocacy organization representatives and those of the participants.
