  BRENDAN FAY Originally from Ireland, Brendan  is known for his outspoken  efforts for justice and equality for LGBT people in the Church and society. He holds  BA and MA degrees in theology from  St. Patrick's College Maynooth Ireland and St. John's University in New York.
  Brendan  is a regular presenter on gay spirituality and justice at churches , community groups, rallies and retreats. He co-ordinated "Silence to Speech "-  a video documentary series  on being Irish and Queer in America.
  Brendan has been involved in the movement for marriage equality since 1997  and was  co- chair of the CIVIL MARRIAGE TRAIL PROJECT  bringing couples across borders to Canada and Massachusetts  for legal marriage. Brendan  lives in Astoria NY with his spouse Tom Moulton. They were among the first New Yorkers and  binational  couples to legally marry in Canada in July 2003..
